Andy Lareau, president and CEO of QuickSet, spent the past two weeks in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where Hurricane Katrina affected many people. As part of his church, Andy volunteered as organizer to help rebuild the rectory of church St. Peter the Apostle. He put together teams of five to seven people from QuickSet’s local region that volunteered to go down to Pascagoula to help rebuild. The volunteers had to sleep in cots, sleeping bags, or RV’s. There were three feet of water and mud in the rectory of the church. What was left of the walls had to be torn down and completely rebuilt. Once more funds are received, the rebuilding of the church’s convent, school and the actual church will begin.
