On March 8th, 2005 Jim Fennig, the vice president of sales and marketing, received the Presidents award. Jim received this recognition for his work on a multi year contract for QuickSet. Jim Fennig has been part of the QuickSet team since 1999. Jim expresses his feelings towards receiving this award: “It took a lot of hard work with the customer. This award exemplifies the way that QuickSet does business with customers. We work as close as possible with the customer. We get to know their requirements and applications. In doing so we become a partner with them. It demonstrates the consultative selling that QuickSet does. Once you understand what the customer wants you are working as one and it becomes very logical to bring about the new product necessary. I was thrilled with receiving the award but I am much more thrilled with what it represents; a customer that has found the right product through and with QuickSet.”

In the past six years that Jim has been part of the company he is happy to see how the company has progressed and reinvented itself. Since the beginning he knew that QuickSet had a high quality product that had greater potential that is only now starting to be fulfilled. This came about by understanding the market and having a better understanding of the customer needs. Once this knowledge was gained QuickSet was able to expand and redefine the products to make them more sophisticated.
