On March 8th, 2005 Jim Fennig, the vice president of sales and marketing, received the Presidents award. Klaus Leitloff is the Director of Production at QuickSet. He has been part of QuickSet for forty years. He is originally from Berlin, Germany. Before coming to the United States and working at QuickSet Klaus had been drafted into the German army. Klaus has stayed with QuickSet because as he says, “We diversified. QuickSet is in constant progress and that’s one reason why we are still around and why I stay.”
QuickSet’s main focus on design for its products is robustness and durability. That is why QuickSet uses a large pitch steel worm gear design. Not only is this feature very robust but it is also self locking. Another great advantage of this feature is its modularity.
