Mark Klang became part of the QuickSet team in May and is the Western Regional Sales Manager. Mark’s background makes him a perfect fit for QuickSet. Before becoming part of the QuickSet team Mark worked for defense contractors in business development. The contractors that Mark worked for were associated with airborne reconnaissance and avionics upgrades. He has a BA in political science from the University of Florida and was commissioned a second lieutenant through the Air Force ROTC program in 1983. Mark flew B-52’s for the Air Force and flew the RF-4C tactical reconnaissance fighter for the Nevada Air National Guard. In 1998 he joined the Air Force Reserves and was assigned to the Air Staff at the Pentagon. Mark retired from the Air Force Reserves in May 2005. Mark was elected to the Rocklin Unified School Board in 2000 and served four years on the school board. He also coaches his daughter’s basketball team. Mark is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but at 13 he moved to Fort Lauderdale. He has lived in the Sacramento area for the last 20 years. Mark expresses his thoughts about becoming part of the QuickSet team: “What I like about my job is the challenge of meeting the needs of QuickSet customers. With the aftermath of 9/11, I believe QuickSet is providing a valuable tool and service to our armed forces and others by helping meet the safety needs of our country.” He continues on about his experience at QuickSet: “Everyone at QuickSet works as a team. We all have one objective and that is to provide the very best product and service for all of our customers.” Mark makes the QuickSet team stronger with his security experience and his team member standpoint.
