Ted Neiman
This past February Ted Neiman joined the QuickSet team and became the regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Before becoming part of the QuickSet team Ted was a chief flight instructor for Capitol Air. Ted explains: “One of my passions is aviation.” He was always interested in technology and electronics. That is why he received his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Ted went on to get his master’s degree at the University of Massachusetts again in electrical engineering. He also worked at Racal Communications where he was the director of marketing and sales. At Racal he was providing encrypted hand held radio systems to the military, FBI, Secret Service, and overseas customers. This gave Ted the change to travel all of the US and the world.
Ted is a native to the east coast, having been born in Washington D.C. and living most of his life in New England. Ted says, “ I like working in a small company (such as QuickSet) where everyone pitches in to make it a success. The product line at QuickSet has enough technology in it to keep everyday interesting with finding solutions to our customer’s problems.” He earned his pilot’s license in Nashua New Hampshire. He was a private pilot for about ten years. Ted stopped flying when he moved to D.C. but Ted went back to get recertified. He also obtained his instrument, commercial, and multiengine instructor ratings.
Ted says, “I love to teach flying. I teach private pilots through multi-engine commercial pilots when time permits.” He also teaches advanced avionics usage and advanced instrument flying to local pilots. Apart from all of this Ted also flies Angel flight missions, which provide free air transportation for non-emergency medical flights for needy people. His work experience extends from pilot, engineering, sales, marketing, business development, to eBusiness and eCommerce. Ted’s versatile knowledge extending from engineering, sales, marketing, to flying and his team player attitude proves that he is a very valuable member of the QuickSet team.
