Always looking to make our customers job easier
In December we announced the acquisition by QuickSet of Knox Video Technologies, a manufacturer of matrix switchers and distribution amplifiers. This was part of a strategy to expand the product lines that QuickSet has to offer to our customers in order to reduce the complexity and improve the integration process. QuickSet serves over 900-customers each year, many of them small integrators who bear the burden of putting together increasingly complex systems to satisfy expanding surveillance and security requirements in today’s post-911 world. Our goal is to not only make that process easier but in doing so increase his value proposition to the end-user. We do that by increasing the features and functionality of the security and surveillance products we offer. Today, customers expect a feature-rich product in addition to our high standard of ruggedness and durability. Not only that, but the product must be rapidly configurable into a wide ranging mosaic of applications, as each customer has their own unique objective and requirements.
It is this same product philosophy that we found in the Knox product line, which is why it fits so well with QuickSet. In today’s Newsletter, Stefan Seigel, Vice President of Sales at our Knox Operation, gives the specifics in the first of three articles on how we’ve incorporated the feature rich functionality and performance found in the Knox matrix switchers in our new product line of QuickSet switchers, the Scout 16, Shield 64 and Sentinel 256. After reading about the new QuickSwitch line of matrix switchers, I’m sure you’ll agree that the technology and products of QuickSet and Knox are an excellent fit and in the end, we’ve made a big step towards the goal of making our customers job easier (and more profitable).
