The longer you live, the more you realize that nothing stays the same: Life is a series of incremental steps that take us from what we have today to what we need in the future. And so it is here at QuickSet: Our legacy tripod products started with the photography business; from there we migrated into heavy-duty pedestals for early television studios. Our reputation with that industry led us into the remote positioning of microwave dishes on top of the ENG vans.

The ruggedness and durability required for the day-to-day pounding of mobile applications opened the door to heavy industrial and military applications for both tripods and pan/tilts. And today, our products are found in every corner of the earth…and in space…serving in harsh and challenging environments. Gone are the photographic tripods (Although I often hear people tell me they’ve got a QuickSet tripod in their closet with their 35-mm SLR.) and gone are the studio pedestals. The “world has turned” and QuickSet’s legacy has continued within new products and capabilities never imagined in years gone by. All fueled by the continuous incremental improvement of our products as the need arose within our expanding marketplace. 

As you’ll read in this newsletter, our newest product, the QPT-50 is the latest result of our design innovation applied to our legacy product quality. It is another incremental step towards meeting the needs of the future.
