QuickSet has always had its door open to meet customer needs by designing custom made
products. With fast changing technology, it’s important to be able to
provide solutions for customer demands.
Special Applications Engineer
William Montalvo is in charge of our custom design department. Bill is a project
manager and software designer. He spent twelve years at Motorola, where he had the
opportunity to be part of the design, test, and support of their products in the United
States and internationally. He says, “What I like about heading this
department is that it’s exciting to marry new technologies and create new products.”
Steve Byro, who has a strong background in video and camera custom design, also makes up part of the
special applications engineer department. “What I like about being a special applications
engineer is that I’m able to work with the customer," he said. "I like to conceptualize
the customer’s needs and be able to deliver a finished product.” One of the great things
about custom design is that it creates the ability to solve problems that the customers have, and as
a company we are able to have exposure to new technology and influence new design.
