Commander Controller
Staying on top of innovation is a challenge, but QuickSet is up to taking any challenge. QuickSet has developed new designs, but not only in pan and tilts. Rod Harris, who is part of the QuickSet team, has designed a universal controller. This microprocessor based / touch screen interface / joystick controller became a reality out of answering QuickSet customers' demand to provide a means to control not only QuickSet pan and tilt positioners, but a variety of sensors (visible and IR cameras, lenses (zoom, focus and iris), video, serial control and data switches. Essentially all components of a complete End-to-End Security / Surveillance System can be controlled with our new tabletop /rack mountable joystick controller. The basis for the design was driven by the need to provide a variety of control interfaces including four RS-232 /RS-422 serial data ports, 2 USB, 1 10/100 Base T Ethernet ports. With the touch screen display interface, this array of interfaces allows the ability to control a fully networked video / control data surveillance system. This controller has already been successfully been sold to the United States Coast Guard as part of a surveillance system that QuickSet designed. QuickSet has also sold this controller to the NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida.
