Happy Holidays from QuickSet

It is hard to believe that the end of 2004 is upon us and the planning has begun for 2005. It is often at this time of the year that one becomes reflective of one’s achievements and goals. As I’ve mentioned previously in this column, 2004 has been one of transformation for QuickSet. Our legacy product business of positioners and tripods has grown by over 25% this year.  And as you’ll read below, QuickSet has completed the acquisition of Knox Video Technologies, which we see as a very promising addition to our product line. This will allow us to more completely fulfill customer needs. Indeed, our investment in Knox was directly driven by our customer’s requests for “complete systems” which we are now more capable of supplying. 

Looking ahead, it appears that 2005 will be another record year for QuickSet with strong growth in all product sectors. Of course, we will continue to endeavor on every order to meet the customer’s specifications and deliver the product on the quoted schedule. Our six-sigma, lean manufacturing and Kan-Ban inventory have made us much more efficient and helped us sustain our reputation for on-time delivery. However, as QuickSet is no different than any other fast growing company, we will have our growing pains. Problems are unavoidable, in a rapidly growing business, but you, the customer, have my word as President and CEO that QuickSet will do what ever it takes to maintain the high standards of excellence that you’ve come to expect.
