August 31, 2004-- State Representative Kathy Rig visited QuickSet, a worldwide provider of Industrial/Military Grade tripods, positioning and optical surveillance systems for defense, homeland security, transportation security, and other markets.  QuickSet welcomed Kathy Ryg into its facility.  She met with President, Andy Lareau, Executive Vice President Frank Perry, and Vice President of Operations, Brian Hallstrom.  Jeff Datkulaki, the president of the Illinois Defense Association was also present.  "As State Representative I make it a priority to stay on top of the issues facing our community," said Ryg.  "Improving transportation is at the top of the list.  Looking at the technology that a local company like QuickSet offers is very promising towards meeting our goals."
